Mexico is without a doubt a wonderful cacao and chocolate country. Dominique couldn't believe his eyes when he went on a cacao expedition to this country for the first time in 2006. Their national dish "Mole Pablona" is made with chocolate. Cacao is sacred to the Mayas and they call it "food of the gods". The cacao beans were even used as means of payment. The many befriendend cacao farmers are close to his heart. So much passion just to offer us the best cacao in the world. This bar is made with Uranga Trinitario cacao from Tabasco. Due to the exeptional quality of beans, it's a soft chocolate with a rather high cacao percentage and lovely hints of dried fruit.
